Hi, I’m Mikaela Corney.

I’m currently a UX Designer at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.

In 2022, I graduated with my Master’s in Human-Computer Interaction and Design from the University of Washington, where I specialized in solving problems using research, leading and collaborating in teams, and interaction design.

Before that, I worked at Airbnb for nearly 7 years under the customer service umbrella. My time at Airbnb not only got me interested in design, but also helped me establish a strong foundation in user advocacy and empathy.

Now I aim to make an impact with my own product designs, creating empathetic, delightful and intuitive solutions to make the world a better place.

In my free time, you can catch me reading, riding my bike, hiking, or baking tasty treats.
